About this Event
Join us Saturday, November 15 for an exploration of Virginia Mahoney's captivating vessel-like artworks. Her solo exhibition, Holding Thoughts, explores themes of life, memory, and aging. Each individual artwork repurposes old sketchbook entries and paintings as a means to process the past and reaffirm the present. For this body of work, Virginia received the Marlene and David Persky Present Tense Prize, awarded to an artist exemplifying new practices, artistic risk-taking, and excellence in execution.
Virginia and Toby Sisson, an accomplished artist and educator, will together unpack Virginia's process and inspirations.
This event is open and free to all. Please RSVP for the event using this form.
