Everyone is welcome to join us for our monthly Artist Block Party!!
Austin Schmaltz is an artist and educator residing in Bismarck, ND. He began his career as a high school art teacher in 2009
at Bismarck High School and has since ventured over to
Legacy High School where he is currently employed.
Austin enjoys experimenting with all art media and specializes
in caricature illustration. He began his career as a live caricature artist while attending Minnesota State University Moorhead for Art Education. Austin also dabbles in the art of writing poetry and has recently been working on illustrating digital art media to accompany his poems.
Austin lives with his wife, Mackenzie, along with their dog, Moira, and cats, Dora and Olive.
There will be coffee and treats along with a day of visiting with our local artist! Open from 10am-2pm
