Artist Binbin Huang Live Painting

We are delighted to invite you to meet Binbin Huang in the gallery on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 1 to 4 PM.

Her work achieves the organic integration of oriental connotation and western artistic expression.

BinBin Huang is a painter and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner resident in Vancouver since 2000. She was raised in a family of scholars, painters and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and initially she was taught painting and medicine by members of her family. At age 17, during the Cultural Revolution, she was fortunate to become a pupil to Ms. Jian Yun Sun, a master of Chinese art and art restorer at the Imperial Palace Museum in Beijing. There she studied Chinese fine brushwork for eight years. Bin Bin further studied decorative art design and oil painting and focussed on scenery, flowers and portraits.
