FIND HANDCRAFTED SOUVENIRS AT THE ARTISAN MERCADO@SXSW MARCH 15 - 16

AUSTIN,TX-Tourists and locals can find handcrafted souvenirs at the Artisan Mercado@SXSW, a Latin American art and arts and craft market, at 506 Congress Ave. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday, March 15 - 16.

At the Artisan Mercado, you can discover vividly colored creations made by 14 Latinx artists and artisans that live in Austin as well as indigenous arts and crafts sourced from Latin America. Shoppers can find handcrafted textiles, dresses, guayaberas, jewelry, dolls, headbands, handbags, keychains, paintings and ceramics, unique souvenirs that echo the deep roots of Texas grounded in Mexican tradition.

While shoppers browse at the art market, they can also enjoy live Latin music in the meeting rooms.

Space is limited so interested persons should make their reservation here for this event.

AUSTIN, TX – Turistas y residentes locales podrán encontrar recuerdos hechos a mano en el Artisan Mercado@SXSW, un mercado de arte y artesanías latinoamericanas ubicado en el 506 Congress Ave. El evento se llevará a cabo de 10 a.m. a 6 p.m. el domingo 15 y lunes 16 de marzo.

En el Artisan Mercado, podrá descubrir creaciones de colores vibrantes realizadas por 14 artistas y artesanos latinos que residen en Austin, así como artesanías indígenas provenientes de diversos puntos de América Latina. Los visitantes encontrarán textiles hechos a mano, vestidos, guayaberas, joyería, muñecas, diademas, bolsos, llaveros, pinturas y cerámicas; recuerdos únicos que reflejan las profundas raíces de Texas cimentadas en la tradición mexicana.

Mientras recorren el mercado de arte, los asistentes también podrán disfrutar de música latina en vivo en los salones.
