Artisan Chocolate Workshop - Truffles and Tempering

Learn the basics of chocolate and try your hand at chocolate making in this fun chocolate workshop, hosted by Mother and Daughter team, Cyndy and Leah, of Pure Lovin' Chocolate!

In this class we will:

- Learn about where chocolate comes from, how it's made, and different types of chocolate (including organic, Fair trade and vegan chocolate).

- Learn about and make dark chocolate ganache

- Handroll and dip chocolate truffles

- Temper chocolate by hand

- Make dark chocolate fruit & nut bark or clusters

Each participant will leave with 9 chocolate truffles in a gift box, 1 large piece of chocolate fruit & nut bark or a few clusters, and a handout with information on everything we covered as well as recipes.

We will be using 71% organic, Fair Trade dark chocolate and all ingredients are vegan, gluten free and soy free.

Please make sure you are dressed appropriately for a kitchen environment (no open toed shoes or high heels, no sleeveless shirts, please tie hair back). Aprons will be provided.

Class is 14 yrs+. Class has a maximum of 8 participants. Class may be cancelled if minimum participant amount is not met.
