In support of Pope Leo’s first encyclical on the topic of Artificial Intelligence (Magnifica Humanitas) to be released this month, the Catholic Schools Office is hosting a symposium in O’Connor Hall on June 23, titled Artificial Intelligence, the Human Person, and the Love that Surpasses Knowledge. We are honored to have a panel of distinguished experts from the fields of science, technology, education, theology, and philosophy to help attendees explore AI through the lens of Catholic social teaching. Our speakers are true heavyweights in this arena, noted nationally and internationally, widely published, and some serving in a consulting capacity to the Vatican on the topic of AI. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from our guests and share with each other in break out groups with persons of like backgrounds and interests. We invite you to attend and encourage you to share this exceptional opportunity with your friends and family.
