In this session, Jonathan Liebert—Chair of the Colorado Workforce Development Council—will share insights on emerging workforce trends and practical strategies for small- and mid-sized businesses to prepare for the future. Jonathan Liebert, MA
Chief Executive Officer at BBB Serving Southern Colorado
Jonathan Liebert is an innovative, purpose-driven leader and social entrepreneur dedicated to removing barriers, fostering community value, and developing future leaders. Since 2015, he has served as the CEO and Executive Director of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Colorado, where he oversees marketplace trust across 25 counties and acted as a chief architect for the pioneering "BBB4Good" trustmark program. Deeply committed to workforce development and civic engagement, Jonathan also serves as the Chairman of the Colorado State Board for the Workforce Development Council.
In addition to his executive leadership, Jonathan is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) College of Business, where he designed the school's first Social Impact course. His extensive background in social enterprise includes serving as CEO of the Southern Colorado Impact Group and spending 14 years as Vice President of AspenPointe Enterprises. Leveraging his background in psychology to address community needs, Jonathan co-founded Inherent Self in 2025, a non-profit dedicated to men's mental health awareness, and frequently trains organizations on the ethical integration of AI, recently authoring his first book, Thought Partner.
Jonathan holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology & Counselor Education from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from The University of New Mexico.
