Unleash your creativity by using the methods in the Artful Log Cabin book to make an art quilt from a favorite image or photo. To make your art quilt, you will select fabrics that represent the colors in your image, use a grid system to transfer your image for the project, and sew log cabin blocks to make your art quilt. Instructions for quilting and facing the quilt will also be given in class. This is a 6-hour class and it is divided into 2 sessions. The first session is 2 hours and the second session is 4 hours. The finished size of the quilt is approximately 27” W x 22” L.This is a two-part class:
Part 1 May 3rd - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, Classroom A - Fabric Side
Part 2 May 17th - 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, Classroom A - Fabric Side
