Arte y Pasion, in conjunction with the Beacon at Midtown Gallery & Studios, is delighted to present TRAVESURA SARADA “Sacred Mischief.” The one-time, intimate performance in San Antonio will take place at 7:30 pm on Thursday May 14 2026 at the Beacon Midtown Theater at 1136 W. Woodlawn Avenue, San Antonio TX 78201. Social hour is 7:30 pm, curtain is 8:00 pm.
The program is a series of lush vignettes in traditional and contemporary flamenco, that tells the story of joy as refuge. When faced with structures that generate chaos and bureaucracy, laughter is the last vestige of the ungovernable.
The company is Tamara Adira, Genevieve Obregon, Jose Manuel Tejeda, and Guille Gonzalez, with special guest Melissa Cruz and San Antonio Poet Laureate Emeritus Andrea Vocab Sanderson.
Following the performance, dancers throughout the community are invited to dance with us. There is a bar and a little celebration.
