Join us for an ArtBreak that explores one of the central themes of the exhibition “Monet to Matisse: French Moderns, 1850–1950” presented by PNC Bank. The exhibition traces a century of artistic movements in which artists sought new ways to capture the world around them. Maggie Crosland, The Fariss Gambrill Lynn and Henry Sharpe Lynn Curator of European Art, will discuss works by Claude Monet, Robert Delaunay, and Joan Mitchell to examine Monet’s lasting influence on future generations of artists working within French modernism.
Please note that this ArtBreak will be held in the “Monet to Matisse” exhibition, therefore the registration fee of $19.51 covers the cost of an exhibition ticket.
