Art.Beats is a community of creators that welcomes you to join us on October 10th at Shimmy gallery to expereince collective art exhibition and live music.

Our goal is to bring together creative people that want to make new connections, promote their work and have a feeling of belongingness to an authentic and artistic group of people that inspires them to continue creating! This is the safe space to express your artistic self and try experiments.

We are excited to have guests joining us to feel the vibe and share our love for art.

During the event you will have opportunity to not only see artworks but also meet in person with creators each art piece. Oil and acrylic pantings, prints be available for your view and for purchase. Live music by our beloved musicians will be a great edition to the vibe of the event.

This time we are cooperating with Shimmy Gallery Shimmy that is an art gallery and multifunctional creative space located in Sant Antoni, perfect location for our ArtBetas event and expo.

General ticket is 10 EUR + evetnbrite fees that includes 1 drink;

Late bird ticket is 15 EUR + evetnbrite fees that includes 1 drink;

This goes to cover event costs and support participants.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

“Other Worlds”

Collective art exhibition of international painters residing in Barcelona, curated by ArtBeats. 

Selected artworks for the Other Worlds collective exhibition takes you into places that feel both far away and strangely close.

Each oil painting in this collection is a portal. In some, you can sink deep into the water, where otherworldly creatures drag you down, like reflections of feelings we carry inside. In others, you rise into the sky, carried by wings, drifting with the clouds and wind, feeling the the primal desire that we all have is to be free.The cosmos, painted as infinite and unknowable, surrounds you with the unsettling comfort of infinity with no beginning, no end, only presence.

And then there are the landscapes that do not exist, yet feel more intimate than reality. They remind us of the strange, haunting places we recognize from dreams or deep reflection, the places where our animal instincts, vulnerabilities, and longings surface in forms we can almost touch.

Animals move throughout these worlds, not as mere symbols but as mirrors. They reveal to us the raw, untamed essence of being, the pulse beneath the intellect, the body beneath the soul. They remind us that our search for other worlds is also a search for the wild and forgotten within ourselves.

In this exhibition, the “other world feeling” becomes visible. It is the sensation of being suspended, submerged, lost, or lifted - of being in a place not made for humans, yet one that still feels deeply familiar to us.
