A dark comedy about Antonin Artaud, the creator of Theatre of Cruelty. The play follows Artaud in a sanitarium and is based on his theatrical theory and his life. We meet Artaud and his Double, his complete opposite. Their complex relationship is the focal point of the play. Artaud tasks his Double with presenting as himself so he can take time away from being a person to write. Artaud and his Double each find a sense of self throughout the play.By Matt Minnicino | Directed by Tony Speciale
