Art Worth will be held in Fort Worth Texas at The Shops of Clearfork, October 25, 26, & 27, 2024. This juried festival of fine craft and fine art will be held over three-days (with set up on the Thursday prior) on the park-like lawns of an exclusive shopping complex, featuring Nieman-Marcus, Tiffany, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and a number of interior design houses. The Shops of Clearfork also offer great restaurants, as well as an abundance of free parking (surface and garages) within the complex, which also includes high-end residential space.
Now, if you are wondering as to why we have arrived at this decision, our reasons include:
1) Access to free public parking – the parking concession at our original site charged $15 (we had planned to start renting a parking lot about a block and running a shuttle to our event; this new location obviates that need, with abundant free public parking on-site).
2) Access to Food – the catering concession at our original site did not offer acceptable options and prevented us from bringing in outside food; this new location has myriad restaurants on-site, some of which will work with us to provide bar and food service outside, as well.
3) Proven Traffic – while we still consider our festival a destination in itself, we will now share a complex with built-in retail and restaurant traffic, as well as on-site residential units.
4) Dust – that was something of a problem at our old site; the lawns at Clearfork are lush.
5) The Shops of Clearfork will be joining in promoting our show through their platforms.
In view of the enhancements listed, we decided to resume our original three-day format, instead of the pared down, two-day event we had planned for 2024.
We hope that you are as excited as we are about the changes we've made and will still be able to join us to perform demonstrations at Art Worth.
