Join us for an immersive, hands-on Adult Art Workshop inspired by the bold and expressive landscapes of Canada’s iconic Group of Seven. This session invites you to slow down, connect with nature, and explore how Canadian artists captured the drama, light, and spirit of the natural world.

In this acrylic-on-paper class, you will explore winter landscapes inspired by the rugged forests, lakes, and skies of Northern Ontario, learning how expressive brushwork and strong colour choices can bring a scene to life.

What You’ll Learn & Create
  • Discover the history and artistic vision of the Group of Seven, known for shaping Canada’s national art identity
  • Learn how winter landscapes were painted using bold colour, texture, and movement
  • Follow step-by-step painting instruction using acrylic paints
  • Experiment with composition, light, and atmosphere
  • Create your own winter-inspired landscape artwork
  • No prior experience needed—curiosity and creativity are all you need

Guided by professional artist Natalia Starikova, this workshop is part of our Paint Like Famous Artists series, designed to make iconic art styles accessible and enjoyable for adult learners.

5-Class Course Option Available

Participants may also register for a 5-class art course, designed as a creative winter journey:

  1. Van Gogh’s Winter
  2. Painting Landscapes
  3. Monochrome Portraits / ink
  4. Collage Art
  5. Creative Crafting - Celebrating Valentine's Day

Each class builds confidence, skills, and personal artistic style while allowing you to create a small personal art collection to take home.
