Join the Ukiah Branch Library to view an ongoing show “Local Quilt Artists Exhibit,” by local quilting groups Mendocino Art Quilters and the Rag Tag Quilters. They will be on display during the months of November & December. Beginning with Art Walk Ukiah on November 5th, 2021, the quilts will remain on display for the next Art Walk scheduled for December 3rd, 2021.
These creatives hope to remind us of the importance textile art holds in our own history and culture. Their pieces are a combination of first rate art quilts and traditionally themed quilts with something for everyone to view and ponder while enjoying the vibrant colors.
November’s Art Walk Ukiah on Friday, November 5th at 5-7PM will host live music by Elizabeth MacDougall, a Book Sale, and Take & Make Quilted Leaf Coaster to-go kits. The kits will be first come, first served for ages 8 years and up.
This exhibit is free to the public, for all ages, and sponsored by the Friends of the Ukiah Valley Library and the Mendocino County Library.
