Participants are invited to join Happiness Habits 613 on a lunch break walk on Somerset Street West and Wellington Street West and possibly a few side streets to explore some of the hidden ... and not-so-hidden community art. Our city streets are amazingly rich in local art and it sometimes takes a mindful guided walk to truly begin to appreciate the magic of artists like @drippin_soul @trp613 & @ryansmeeton. Add to this the February art installations by the Wellington West BIA and the Heart Institute Foundation! It's gonna be a scene. Bring your camera. Bring your weather-appropriate walking shoes. Bring your eyes wide open.

We begin and end at The Urban Art Collective (1088 Somerset St. West). Lots of street parking.

Urban Art Collective: UAC is a group of urban visual artists who LOVE LOCAL ART. In fall 2022, UAC established its hub at 1088 Somerset St. W in Ottawa's Hintonburg community. UAC's goal is to make art accessible to everyone and help support local artists. The Hub is open Tuesday-Friday 2pm-7pm and Saturday 12pm-5pm. Come on in and say hi to Lindsay, Jason and Abby!

Happiness Habits 613: We are a grassroots group in Ottawa-Gatineau created in 2015 that cultivates healthy habits in the community through the 9 Pillars of Happiness. Join us throughout February 2023 for lots and lots and lots of community events.
