Art tour to Wallace Collection: Muses, Lovers and Goddesses in Art
About this Event
Join me for a curated art tour at the Wallace Collection, one of London's most beautiful museums.
Together, we'll uncover the archetypes of lovers, muses, and goddesses through a selection of masterpieces from the eighteenth century. We'll explore how artists used mythology, allegory, and symbolism to express desire, beauty, femininity, and seduction in ways that were both refined and provocative.
From flirtatious glances to symbolic flowers, mirrors, and mythological figures, we'll learn to decode the visual language of Rococo and discover the hidden narratives woven into these paintings.
This tour invites you to look beyond the surface and open the art world for yourself from a different perspective.
Our meeting point is just before the entrance to Wallace Collection. You can recognise me by a green scarf on a bag.
This is a donation based art tour with the invitation to pay what you can if you enjoyned the experience.
The suggested donation is £10 cash.
