Art Studio Sampler week gives students the opportunity to explore several different artistic mediums while discovering what materials and creative techniques they enjoy most. This week is designed as a welcoming introduction to the studio environment and is a great option for students who are new to art classes or who enjoy trying a variety of creative projects.

Throughout the week, campers will experiment with multiple artistic processes including drawing, clay, painting, and mixed media. Each day introduces a new material or technique while reinforcing foundational creative skills such as observation, design, color use, and problem-solving.

Instructor demonstrations guide students through each project step-by-step, while encouraging individual creativity and experimentation. As the week progresses, students build confidence using different tools and materials while learning how artists approach new ideas and develop their work.

By the end of the week, students will have completed several unique projects and gained a broad introduction to the types of artistic techniques explored in the studio.

To help ensure a positive experience for all students, we ask families to review the following camp guidelines before the first day of camp.

Campers should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy. Many of our projects involve paint, clay, and other art materials that may stain clothing. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety in the studio.

Students should bring a water bottle each day. All art materials and tools for the projects are provided by the studio.

Artisan Kids Art Camp takes place in a working art studio. Students will be guided in safe studio practices including proper tool use, respectful handling of materials, and keeping workspaces organized.

All projects are designed with age-appropriate tools and instructor supervision to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Parents or approved guardians must sign students in and out each day. Students will only be released to individuals listed on the registration form with a photo id.

Please plan to arrive promptly at the end of camp so instructors can prepare the studio for the next activities.
