Ahead of our annual free concert, Sunday in the Park with Lyric, children and their adults are invited to join us in Millennium Park for Lyric’s Art-See Jamboree from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25.
Get a taste of our upcoming opera for young people with storyteller Jasmin Cardenas's lively interpretation of "Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Girl in the World" — a book by Laurence Anholt — at 11:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 1:30 PM.
Attendees can also create art with the William Estrada Mobile Street Art Cart Project, enjoy live music from DJ Jawon, take photos, collect swag bags, and learn about Lyric's upcoming offerings.
As you wrap up your Art-See-Jamboree experience, find a spot on the Great Lawn to enjoy an open dress rehearsal of Sunday in the Park with Lyric, starting at 2:30 PM. This will be a preview of our evening event, which begins at 7:00 PM at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
