Mandoon Helena room, Goolugatup Heathcote | Perth, WA
About this Event
Join artist, Nazerul Ben-Dzulkefli, for a two-part workshop as we build mini monuments out of clay. In the first session you will be guided by Nazerul, learning hand-building skills, using clay and tools to design and sculpt your own ceramic mini-monument. The sculptures will then be dried and fired on site, ready for a second session on Wednesday, 25 January where you will glaze your monument. After a final glaze firing, your very own ceramic mini monument will be ready to place in your garden or anywhere at home to create a magical corner of contemplation.
All materials are included in the cost of the ticket.
Dates
Please note - this program runs across two days, and participants must attend both sessions:
- Monday, 9 January (building) and Wednesday, 25 January (glazing)
Finished sculptures will go through a second round of firing after the second session, before they can be collected at a later date. City of Melville will advise participants as soon as their finished pieces are ready to be collected.
Times
9.30am to 12.30pm each session
