Art School Live is a two-day music festival in the Grosvenor East Theatre at MMU After a hugely successful first year in 2021 Art School Live is back to do it all again, this time with a full physical audience and even more bands! Early bird tickets are on sale now!

12 amazing bands will play across two days in the Man Met Grosvenor East Theatre (opposite All Saints Park, just off Oxford Road) + a DJ stage and an aftershow at Sandbar both nights. The bands will be announced over the coming days, grab an early bird ticket while they are available (they're pretty cheap!)

Each band playing at the festival is also paired with a visual artist to transform the space with projections for each set.

Early Bird (Thursday) - £10 = 6 bands + 4 DJs

Early Bird (Friday) - £10 = 6 bands + 5 DJs

Early Bird (Two Day) - £15 = 12 bands + 9 DJs

Early Bird Student (Thursday) - £5 = 6 bands + 4 DJs

Early Bird Student (Friday) - £5 = 6 bands + 5 DJs

Early Bird Student (Two Day) - £8 = 12 bands + 9 DJs

All proceeds go directly to Brighter Sound to help them to continue their amazing work.

Live-Stream & Admission

The whole event will also be filmed and live-streamed on the day. Please be aware that there will be cameras around at the event, and by attending you are agreeing to potentially end up on camera in the crowd.

By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to have your name & email address shared with MMU, purely in regards to granting admission to the venue on the day.

Art School Live

Art School Live is a project focussed on bringing live music on to the MMU campus. Started by technicians at the university, the project offers students invaluable experience of planning and producing a professional hybrid event. All Art School Live events are filmed and live-streamed using a multicam setup, meaning that the project also builds up an archive of performance videos documenting Manchester's vibrant music scene.
