Inspired by a love of Italian and as an homage to her father, Judith Baker Waller has recently been taking a deep dive into Dante's Divine Comedy as she practices the art of Swedish death cleaning.
Bill Gillard's latest book is "If a Clod Be Washed", a verse novel about a day in the life of a biology teacher at a boys' prep school in New Jersey and the coming of night that leads to his existential crisis in a swamp at the edge of campus. "Funny and beautiful poems!" says Joanna Dane.
In the spirit of getting lost in the dark wood, Joanna has dug up some old work never seen that traces paths with line and words through the labyrinth of midlife.
Hope you can join us!
