Join us for an evening reception celebrating the paintings of Richard Thompson (1945–2021).
Richard Thompson’s Eye: Landscapes from 1988 to 2020 brings together three decades of Richard’s landscapes in the Loft Gallery at the Chehalem Cultural Center. Richard grew up on his family’s farm in Dayton, and the fields, barns, and roadside flowers of the Willamette Valley shaped his work for more than fifty years. His paintings were shown on five continents and twice in the Whitney Biennial, yet he always considered Oregon home.
