The charge on Eventbrite is to help pay for the room. If anyone has any suggestions of cheaper/free spaces, get in touch as I’m happy to hear them.

My Vision

I co-run a writing group in Exeter and have found the process of connecting with other writers both rewarding and empowering. I want to bring that same sense of community to visual artists in Exeter and beyond.

On 17th September, we'll meet to share a piece of work, or an aspect of your creative practice you'd like to discuss, and receive feedback and support from fellow local creatives.

You can either bring along your physical pieces, or there is access to a large TV, so we can show photos, access websites or show videos (bring along some stuff on a memory stick if you want to).

If you don't have anything to share, that's fine too :D

Are you a painter, mixed-media artist, photographer, filmmaker, sculptor, or something else entirely? If you work in the visual arts, come along to share and discuss your projects. All skill levels are welcome.

Me

I studied film and video, have worked in graphic design, and write for fun. With the advent of AI, I've been inspired to bring my digital skill set into the physical world through scrappy mixed-media oddities exploring the mind and memory.

The Future

Let's start small and see what interest there is, and where people want to take things.

I propose meeting once a month to bring along work, discuss it, and support one another. Let's bring new life to Exeter's art scene.
