Art on the Route Launch Event

To launch our first route, we’re having a fun-packed day of arty exploring with lots of activities to get involved in.

Launch Party
10.30am - 4pm
Pocket park, 11 Stamford Rd, NN16 8XX, Kettering.
- Pick up your official route passport. With a map to follow, creative stop offs and engaging climate quizzes.
- Bike themed art activities with Kettering Street Art.
- Cycle servicing and fun climate challenges with Brightwayz.
- 12pm - The Mayor of Kettering officially opens Art on the Route
Theatre Walking Trail
11am & 1pm
Grange Place, Kettering, NN16 0NT
Join Samantha Brooks, news reporter and local resident, as she champions active travel and gets us all thinking about small changes we can make that will have a huge impact. Enjoy a short walk and meet some colourful characters along the way… Will Dr. Smog be a help or a hinderance? Will Agent Green wow everyone with fascinating facts? You’ll have to come along to find out!
Shows last 45 mins, walk along the route towards town and end at the big mural site at 11 Stamford Rd, do bring along your favourite choice of active travel (wheels/scoot/walk)
Official route passports will be available to collect from the start of the trail show too.
