Art on the Patio - Poppy Pours

It's another chance on a Friday night to get messy and pour acrylic paint poppy flower with us. We will have demonstrations on the hour, every hour to help you get started.
It's $5 to join us!
Art on the Patio: Starting May 24th, Friday Night Art is now officially back outside on our patio!! Spring to Fall we like to have our patio available for outdoor art projects. Our indoor art workspace is still available for anyone who wishes to work indoors.
You can stop in anytime from 4-8pm to work on your project. This project typically takes 30 min to make. We recommend watching our demonstrations at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.
Walk-ins are also warmly welcomed on the day of the event.
What's in Store:
Everyone receives a blank 4x4" mini canvas and mini easel. To start, you will paint your canvas background. Black makes for a good background, however, you can choose any color you like

Next we will pouring pre-mixed and diluted paints on the canvas. If you don't see a color you like you are welcome to mix your own. With pre-mixing, we'll have to make sure you paint is the right consistency with pouring. Our experts will be available to help you out with proper mixing and diluting techniques.
Our last step is to pour paint over a soda bottle bottom and then move it on our canvas. For this, we will be using straw to blow air and move our paint
Practice Makes Almost Perfect:
Paint pouring can takes some practice to get the hang of it, but it's definitely fun to come learn. You can be happy to come experience paint pouring and hopefully leave with knowing some new techniques. There's always more opportunities to pour paint with us if you want to fine tune your skills.
Additional Parking: If our parking lot looks full the when you arrive, please know that we have a back parking lot that you can access from 1914 S Maple Ave. There is a back entrance or feel free to get your steps in that day and walk around to the front door.
Refund Policy: There are no refunds for this class. We are happy to hold class credit if you paid in advance and for some reason you cannot make it that day.

All ages are welcome to attend. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
