Art on the Farm with Chicago FarmWorks

Chicago FarmWorks has partnered with local artist Olivia Arrow to host our first evening of "Art on the Farm." This is a loosely structured event that is free to the public and fit for all experience levels. Participants are encouraged to move about the farm for inspiration and choose a location where they would like to make art. There is no instructed activity, which leaves participants free to find and sketch whatever inspires them.

An art kit will be provided for each registered attendee, as well as some light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy throughout the evening. Picnic tables will be provided as stationary seating locations, as well as folding chairs that can be carried to different locations around our farm.

Please Note: Registration is required to attend this event. It is ok for attendees to arrive late or leave early in order to participate.

Breakdown of Event:

4:45pm - 5:00pm: Attendees will arrive, check-in, and receive their supply kit.

5:00pm - 5:15pm: There will be a short introduction to the evening's activity and the Chicago FarmWorks mission.

5:15pm to 6:45pm: This time is reserved for participants to find a desirable location and do the activity.

6:45pm to 7:00pm: Wrap up activity and meet back at the farm entrance to close out the evening together.

Please Note: The rain date for this event will be Friday September 26th – 5pm to 7pm. Your tickets will automatically be valid for this date and there is no need to re-register.
