Join us for the next edition of “Art on the Block” Art Market and Chalk Fest, being held on the last block of Broadway between Grand St and Colden St. overlooking the Hudson River. This is an outdoor urban art marketplace featuring over 35 artists from various parts of the Mid Hudson region. There is a wide mix of mediums and styles on display by artists with skills ranging from professional to up-and-coming. Many artists will be doing ‘live’ painting demonstrations. This is also a chalk festival! Come watch the many artists that will create large scale artwork right on the pavement. The excitement of seeing how the art develops throughout the day will be fascinating. A children's chalking area will be available at no cost. Food trucks will be on site including espresso and cotton candy carts. The block will be filled with the sounds of a live production of cinematic grooves.
