Hosted by Tamell “Big” Bailey and Cathy B every third Thursday of the month, Art Of Words is an excellent opportunity for adults and young adults to practice performance skills in front of a receptive audience, receive feedback, and get inspiration for creating new performance pieces.The theme for July is "Independence," and the featured performer is KayCee Thee Poet. Karlton T. Clay, poetically known as KayCee Thee Poet, was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. Karlton graduated from Davidson Fine Arts in 2004 and Georgia State University in 2008. Karlton began Victory Productions after his bout with leukemia, which he is now a survivor of 22 years. Under Victory Productions, he has released 15 films and 15 series, with new films coming out this year and next. However, he has decided to put the camera away and focus on his writing. He has an action-adventure book called "Titan Warriors: Alignment Of Power," and a comic book series, "Chosen." As a poet, Karlton has released two poetry books with EPs entitled "Ebbs and Flows'' and "Raw-N-UnKut." His third one, "I Am Me," will be released soon.
