What happens when the worlds of whiskey and art come together? A little inspiration, a few unexpected perspectives, and an evening worth slowing down for.
Art of the Sip: Inspired by Justus returns to Brother Justus Whiskey Company for its second year, bringing together regional artists, whiskey enthusiasts, and creative voices to explore the relationship between craft, creativity, and whiskey.
Inspired by the shared elements of both disciplines — patience, experimentation, transformation, and a healthy respect for the process — this experience invites guests to see whiskey through a different lens and discover the stories, people, and creative processes behind the work.
Join us at the distillery for an evening celebrating the intersection of art and whiskey. Explore an exhibition of work from a curated group of regional artists, meet the makers behind the pieces, and hear firsthand about the inspiration and craftsmanship that shape their work. Participating artists will be on hand to share their creative processes, with artwork available for purchase directly from the artists. One hundred percent of artwork sales go directly to the artists.
The evening will also feature a facilitated artist panel discussion exploring the connections between art, whiskey, and the creative process, alongside featured cocktails crafted by guest bartenders and inspired by Brother Justus whiskey and the spirit of the exhibition. Enjoy light bites, connect with fellow art and whiskey enthusiasts, and take in short narrative works and creative reflections woven throughout the reception.
