Art of the Fold: Smocking Design Workshop with Zayden Skipper
About this Event
Experience a live demonstration and hands-on practice of smocking—a time-honored sewing and embroidery technique that gathers fabric into soft, controlled folds secured with decorative stitching. Hosted at the Mood Fabrics Atlanta Showroom, designer Zayden Skipper will showcase how flat textiles are transformed into dimensional, textured surfaces used in heirloom garments and modern fashion. Attendees will also get the chance to create their own smocking samples during the session.
