About this Event
Corrosion is a major issue in engineering, causing broken pipelines, collapsed bridges and sinking ships, leading to huge consequences for our environment. In this workshop, learn about the different approaches scientists are exploring to tackle the corrosion problem in metals. Using various chemical reactions between copper and common household items, you will create uniquely colourful keychains to take home.
This event is part of the Great Exhibition Road Festival: Trailblazers.
This is an adults-only workshop, for more workshops including ones for all ages and family-friendly workshops please visit the Festival website. Please arrive 10 minutes before the event begins. If you arrive after this time, your ticket may be reallocated.
