About this Event

Break the Routine, Connect, and Create—Stress-Free!

Looking for a relaxed, low-key way to unwind, try something new, and connect with fellow veterans, first responders, and families? Step away from the daily grind and join us for a fun, hands-on relief printmaking workshop designed for everyone—no art skills or experience required!

Why You'll Love It:

• 100% Free & Stress-Free: Thanks to our generous sponsor, Fortiline Waterworks, this event is completely free! It's all about having a good time, taking a breather, and enjoying a welcoming, zero-pressure space.
• Built for Connection: Designed specifically to bring together veterans, first responders, and family members (ages 13 and up) to reduce isolation and build community.
• Snacks & Beverages Provided: Grab a refreshment, kick back, and relax while you create—complimentary snacks and drinks are included!

What You’ll Do (The Fun Part!):

• Carve & Create: Learn the simple basics of relief printmaking. Choose from ready-to-use templates or draw your own design on a soft 4x6 carving block.
• Ink & Pull: Roll on printing ink with a brayer and hand-pull your own original prints to take home.
• Go Big Together: Try your hand at carving a larger traditional linoleum block and contribute to a collaborative community piece for the gala!
