Art of Collections

Manchester Museum is delighted to be collaborating with artist and Culture Champion Yvonne Noworyta in this series of drawing workshops for the curious, aged 50 and over.

These workshops will allow you to get closer to your inner artist while discovering some of the objects that are part of Manchester Museum’s world-class collections. Museum staff and volunteers will give you an overview about the specimens and objects presented at each session and Yvonne Noworyta will guide you and support you throughout the drawing process.

The workshops are taking place in a helpful, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No previous experience is needed and all abilities are welcome. Nearby break-out space is available and tea and coffee are provided.

These are the dates of the workshops:

-Tuesday 15th October, from 11 am to 2 pm

-Tuesday 19th November, from 11 am to 2 pm

-Tuesday 10th December, from 11 am to 2 pm
