Art of Assisting - Baptiste Yoga San Francisco

Art of Assisting is a hands-on training program that will transform your practice, your assisting and your teaching. In this weekend-long training, your days will be balanced between practicing yoga, learning alignment principles and assisting techniques, and giving and receiving assists.

This training will be co-facilitated by Baptiste teachers, Annie Morrison, Gudrun Bjarnadottir, and Sean Silvera.

TWO DAY COURSE PROMISE:

• You will be taught and practice an assist for every pose in the Journey Into Power sequence.
• You will assist a full Journey Into Power practice using the Baptiste Yoga techniques for assisting.
• You will have a new experience of connection with others and of being of service.

THE TRAINING IS FOR ANYONE WHO:

• Wants to develop a new awareness of alignment in their body and yoga practice
• Aspires to be a hands-on assistant in a yoga class
• Currently teaches or assists and wants to up-level their assisting technique

* Note: You do not have to be a yoga teacher in order to participate! Anybody is welcome.

SCHEDULE:

Day 1 | 8am - 6pm (doors open at 7:30am)

Day 2 | 8am - 6pm (doors open at 7:30am)

*You will have a 1 hour lunch break each day, in addition to snack breaks!
