As part of the Mansfield Town Film Festival’s Art of Action series, this event shines a spotlight on one of the most intense and meticulously crafted action films of the 1960s.
Starring Burt Lancaster, The Train tells the gripping story of French Resistance fighters trying to stop a German train loaded with stolen art from leaving France during the final days of World War II.
With support of the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery in order to bring this project to more audiences across the UK.
