CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
Art Mayhem returns with a brand-new format as part of Toledo Fringe Fest 2026 on Saturday, September 26! Compete in a fast-paced, live painting tournament where creativity meets performance. Artists will have five total hours to complete an original painting using only the materials provided by the Collingwood Arts Center—three hours before Fringe Fest begins and two hours during the festival, allowing guests to watch the artwork come to life.
When painting ends, audience voting begins immediately. The painting with the most votes will earn People’s Choice and a $250 cash prize. The remaining works will enter Art Mayhem’s signature showdown, where the lowest-voted paintings are dramatically destroyed until only one artwork remains: The Survivor.
Artist Information
- Individual artists only (no teams)
- $25 registration fee
- All canvases, paint, and brushes are provided
- No outside art supplies permitted
- Artwork must be original and suitable for all ages
- Artists grant the Collingwood Arts Center permission to use their name, likeness, and artwork for promotional purposes
