Join us for a morning of color analysis and art journaling to cultivate emotional awareness & develop healthy coping strategies for navigating emotional overwhelm. We'll have coffee, snacks and an inclusive space to connect, learn and grow together!*** Participants will need to bring a sketchpad or journal and a printed out photo of themselves in black & white on printer paper.
Borderless Color will supply paint, oil pastel and canvas for each attendee ***

About Borderless Color
Borderless Color is an inclusive studio for both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals. It has a sensory room equipped with noise cancelling headphones, tactile stimulation such as dried beans and rice, strip lights, books, hanging swing, and weighted blanket to help those needing to self-regulate. The studio is focused on teaching art through various mediums and styles with lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of the student.

About Kali Picard
Kali Picard is a speech language pathologist and established artist. She has worked in a variety of settings allowing her to help a wide range of individuals ranging from 2 to 102 years old. Many of those she has helped have various diagnoses such as autism, down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, aphasia, dysphagia, dysarthria, apraxia, etc. As a speech language pathologist, she does more than help people speak. She focuses her practice on improving expressive and receptive language, helping individuals learn to swallow, improving social and pragmatic skills, and helping individuals who do not have access to traditional methods of speaking, find alternative ways to communicate (such as using a communication board).
As an artist, Kali is best known for her mural at Bonne Vie Macrons, live painting at weddings, and participating in the Big Easel. Recently, she has created a way to bring both her love for helping others and her passion for the arts together. Kali is the creator and owner of Borderless Color, an inclusive art studio for both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals.
