Art in the Park: Watercolor Landscapes

Meet outside the Urban Ecology Center. Please arrive on time. Once gathered, the group will go on a short nature walk to gain some inspiration for the watercolor artwork. Then we'll return to the tables outside to practice some simple techniques to make a watercolor landscape and explore the medium. We'll use images of nature to support, and basic techniques to try our hand at this artform that is great for beginners.

Encounter the Savannah Restoration and Wildscape Demonstration Garden and learn a little bit about these unique features here at Phil Hardberger Park. Supplies provided, but feel free to bring your own too!

Please note, we will be working with scissors and glue, and this month's program is intended for adults.
