Art in the Garden

A Red Circle presents Art in the Garden an arts-based event that connects community members with placemaking craft activities at the organization’s outdoor garden and farm sites. The spaces are designed to combat the food deserts plaguing parts of the North County region while highlighting the value of creative arts experiences. Guests are invited to participate in arts and crafts activities enjoy live music eat savory food and learn elements of sustainable agriculture while they fellowship with the community in positive impactful ways.

This year’s inaugural Art in the Garden event will take place on Saturday April 5th from 11am-2pm at the Healthy Flavor Community Garden and Market (55 Chambers Rd Riverview MO 63137). Birdhouse painting will be available for guest enjoyment. The Hazelwood Northwest Middle School band will be featured performers. During food growing season additional events are scheduled for June 7th and October 18th.
