About this Event

Celebrate Mother’s Day by joining Kamilaroi artist Amy Lea Hill-Trindall for a special Indigenous painting workshop. This workshop offers a meaningful way to spend the day - whether you come with your mum, a loved one, or simply on your own. Everyone is welcome to take part in this creative and cultural experience.

Amy will introduce participants to Aboriginal symbols and traditional painting techniques, guiding you to create an artwork that tells your own story. No prior experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

This workshop is suitable for ages 16 years and over. Participants are welcome to book individually or with a companion.

About the artist
Amy Lea Hill-Trindall is a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Kamilaroi nation and a Sutherland Shire local. She is a recognised local Aboriginal Artist within the Sutherland Shire and a previous board member of the Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation. She has lived all her life along the Georges and Woronora rivers on Dharawal Country and have been an active member of the Aboriginal community. She is proud of her heritage and loves sharing the beauty of her culture. She wants to show her unique style which uses moder colours using traditional methods to create unique aboriginal art.
