Art History, Create, and Sip

Did you ever want to learn about why an artist makes the art that they make?

Every 1st Friday, MS. Amy will host an art history, create, and sip. In this class she'll give a short lecture about a different artist, art period, or art style. Afterwards, she will give instructions and materials to create an art project based on the lecture. There is no experience necessary and all materials are supplied. One drink from the bar is included in cover charge.
August 2nd will be about M.C. Escher! He has some of the most recognized art all over the world. He is famous for his optical illusions and tessalation art. Learn why he refused to sell his art to Mick Jagger and why he was honored by mathematicians.
