This April, Universal Wellness Source of Roscoe Village presents Evocative Energies, a solo exhibition by Chicago artist Laina Joy.

Featuring 19 original works of art from Laina's Evocative Energies series, Dr. John Reuter of Universal Wellness Source of Roscoe Village could not be more excited to extend an open invite to Gallery Night being held at his office, 1902 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL 60657 – Friday April 4th, 2025 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Come enjoy community, light snacks and drinks, and the opportunity to meet and chat with the artist about his pieces on display for all to enjoy.

20% of all proceeds from art sales will be donated by the artist to Urban Growers Collective.

About Laina Joy:

Laina Joy has 20+ years of artistic experience as a self-taught artist. She has shown pieces for the past decade in galleries and events in Chicago, Detroit, and New York City.

Her art is inspired by people in her life, social events, pop culture, as well as an admiration of the abstract. She uses bright colors and bold lines to draw attention to her subject, adding details that force the viewer to look closer through each layer on the canvas.

In addition to making her own works, Laina Joy also curates art events in Chicago-hosting local artists and vendors within businesses or gallery settings.

About Dr. John Reuter:

Dr. John Reuter of Universal Wellness Source is a local chiropractor in Chicago’s Roscoe Village. He focuses on neurologic-based chiropractic care for your entire family and specializes in stem cell therapy for chronic pain and ailments.

Dr. John is a lover of art and has been a member of the Art Institute of Chicago for years. He wanted to do more to support and engage with his neighborhood of Roscoe Village and beyond to the greater Chicago metro area.

In that spirit he has put together a Community Outreach Art Exhibition Series featuring local artists from all over Chicago. Laina's Evocative Energies series will be the seventeenth show at his chiropractic office.

Info: This event runs from 6-8pm. It starts off with cocktail time (about 30mins or so), then moves into a short conversation and presentation from our featured artist, and then wraps up with purchasing any art you desire to buy and more snacks and drinks.
