About this Event
This November, discover how lettering enhances illustrations and advertising posters preserved at Library and Archives Canada (LAC). Join a local artist for an introductory lesson on the art of hand lettering—while creating your own greeting card.
This event is in English. A workshop will be offered in French on Saturday, November 29, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What is the Art from the Archives series?
Designed to spark your creativity, this series invites you to explore the lesser-known artworks from the collections preserved at LAC. Each workshop begins with a brief presentation of selected artworks and archives, followed by a creative activity led by a local artist. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary!
