Art from the Archives : Olympic Posters

This February, take part in a family edition of the Art from the Archives workshop series. In collaboration with the team at Library and Archives Canada (LAC), create your own Olympic poster inspired by Montréal’s graphic design of the 1960s and 1970s.

This special edition is offered in conjunction with Together at LAC : Explore the Winter Games.

This event is in English. A workshop will be offered in French on Monday, February 16, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.

What is the Art from the Archives series?

Designed to spark your creativity, this series invites you to explore the lesser-known artworks from the collections preserved at LAC. Each workshop begins with a brief presentation of selected artworks and archives, followed by a creative activity led by a local artist. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary!
