Bob Brown Foundation's Art for Takayna exhibition will make its South Australian premiere at Immersive Light and Art (ILA) from 18 September to 10 October as part of Nature Festival 2026.

This exhibition brings together powerful works created by artists from across the country during our foundation's globally unique artivism event.
Within Tasmania's Takayna, one of Earth's last great temperate rainforests and a place of extraordinary Aboriginal cultural significance, frontline defenders host the artists and inspire their works.
Through photography, painting, mixed media, and a brand-new immersive experience, the Art for Takayna exhibition invites visitors to step into Takayna's remarkable landscapes, which are under threat from mining and logging.
At the heart of the exhibition is a stunning immersive film projected across ILA's 110m² LED screen studio, featuring Adelaide pianist Dave McEvoy improvising to the sounds and rhythms of the forest as it awakens at dawn.
