Arts District New Orleans invites you to the the 44th annual Art For Arts' Sake, a celebration of the ARTS in downtown! This annual rite of fall was created by the CAC in 1980, has been presented with ADNO since the early 90s. Since then, it has become one of the hottest events of the year for art lovers in and around New Orleans. Guests are invited to come Downtown for a full day of artful fun and evening openings in the 17 member galleries and museums of the Arts District. ADNO is also thrilled to announce the return of our pandemic-born Art BEYOND Arts' Sake, a returning event addition where our galleries and museums partner with nonprofits to share information on these great organizations during the openings.

What is First Saturday?
The ORIGINAL First Saturday Art Walk takes place on the first Saturday of every month in the #1 destination for art in New Orleans, with 17 member galleries and museums all within a short walking distance (no need to walk or drive miles between locations)! No other area of the city features so much art in one place. Join us for libations and world-class exhibitions by local, national, and international artists.
