Let’s get Artsy! Registered Girl Scouts are invited to express themselves by exploring elements of visual, sculptural, and literary arts at Art Fest on Saturday, September 25. During each session, participants will take part in four age-appropriate workshops including pottery, watercolor, mixed media, and poetry. One of these will be an exclusive workshop sponsored by Truly Nolen Pest Control, where girls can learn about beauty in nature!Sessions: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. for Daisies and Brownies, 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. for Juniors through Ambassadors.
Cost: $18.00 per girl, $12 per adult
The cost of the program per girl includes the Art Fest 2021 patch and all workshop materials.
Please note: This is not a drop-off event, adult supervision is required. Registration will close on September 20, or upon reaching capacity. For questions, please contact [email protected].
**ALL CALL FOR ARTWORK**
The Cultural Council gallery will be transformed to showcase Girl Scout artwork during Art Fest! We are currently accepting Girl Scout art now through September 23.
Provide us with any medium of art that represents Girl Scouts, what Juliette Gordon Low might be interested in today, or your favorite thing about Girl Scouts. Art must be framed or mounted (i.e. ready to hang) and can be dropped off during operating hours at either of the GSSEF Retail Store locations or at our council headquarters, located in Lake Worth.
Girl Scouts who submit their artwork will also have their name entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 gift card!
