ART EXHIBITION “ติส” by Satasakk (Ab)

THREE DEGREES SALON is proud to present “ติส,” a solo exhibition by Satasakk (Ab), celebrating art, tattoo culture, and Southeast Asian influences through printmaking.

Born in Thailand, Satasakk followed a creative path through several different careers. He worked as an architect for four years before becoming a hairstylist. Later, he moved from Bangkok to New York City and has been working at THREE DEGREES SALON for the past three years.

His interest in tattooing began with his first tribal tattoo and continued to grow over time. Being tattooed by both local and international artists opened his eyes to the wide range of tattoo styles and artistic identities found around the world. Inspired by these experiences, he began practicing tattooing and creating his own flash designs.

As a tattoo collector, Satasakk has always been deeply drawn to traditional Eastern art — especially Indian ornamentation, Tibetan motifs, Japanese imagery, Thai decorative patterns, and tribal designs. Looking for a new way to express these influences beyond pencil and paper, he discovered printmaking.

This exhibition reflects his personal journey. The works combine tattoo-inspired imagery with traditional Eastern drawing styles through the process of printmaking, bringing together the cultures, art forms, and experiences that have shaped his creative life.

In addition to the exhibition, we will be joined by Matcha & Tea Bar by Match Beats Club to help cool you down throughout the evening. Rhoy is a Southern Thai tea brand inspired by the culture and traditions of Southern Thailand, serving Thai tea with a bolder aroma, deeper flavor, and a stronger focus on the tea leaves themselves. More than just Thai tea, it represents the authentic taste of the South — the flavor they grew up with.

We will also have limited finger snacks provided by the LES Thai restaurant Sticky Rice, along with music by RDIII & HEIDEN.

“ติส” is a Thai slang term derived from the last syllable of the word “artist.” It describes a person, style, or atmosphere that is artistic, free-spirited, unconventional, and expressive of a unique personality.

For this special evening, THREE DEGREES SALON invites the Thai community and all creatives to come together and celebrate our shared “ติส.”
