Join us for an art exhibit at Bantha Tea Bar! Art from Glass Skin Studio will be featured.
"Hannah Walker makes art from foraged and natural materials. Her main medium is bone, but she enjoy taking broken and discarded things and bringing their beauty to the forefront. Her Instagram handle is @glass_skin_studio. Glass Skin Studios draws from her Appalachian roots, Celtic and Nordic folk practices, a strong desire to honor the dead- and serves as a reminder to live.
Hannah is also an advocate for awareness of Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), all conditions that she personally has. Those with hEDS, a connective tissue disorder, are referred to as having fragile or "glass skin," hence the studio name."
